1. Does the Grants Department allocate money to local nonprofits?

No, because the Grants Department does not fund any organizations. However, an essential component of the department’s mission is assisting local nonprofits in locating funding opportunities and fostering community collaboration in seeking grants for Norwalk. 2. How can my organization access funds that the City of Norwalk grants to nonprofits?

The City of Norwalk has two grant processes for nonprofit organizations. The first is administered through Norwalk’s Finance Department. Contact Director of Management and  Budgets at (203) 854-7708 for more information. The second grant process is the CDBG Program, administered by the Norwalk Redevelopment Agency.
