The Crisis Negotiation Team is a unit of Emergency Services Unit officers whose primary responsibility is to conduct crisis and hostage negotiations. Team members receive specialized and ongoing training. 

The unit is led by a supervisor/team leader who reports to the commanding officer of the Emergency Services Unit.
