General elections are held yearly on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. This year (2020), Election Day will be held on Tuesday, November 3.
This year is a Presidential & State Election so the offices for which we are voting on include President, Congress, State Senator, State Representative, and Registrar of Voters.
Next year, 2021 is an odd numbered year and so there will be a Municipal Election where voting will be held for Mayor, Common Council, Board of Education, Town Clerk, Constable, other city offices, plus Taxing District Commissioner and Treasurer (for those voters who live in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th Taxing Districts.
