Defining Regulated Areas

The map of regulated areas, as detailed in Section 60A-3 of the Norwalk Inland Wetland and Watercourses Regulations, delineates the general location and boundaries of inland wetlands and the general location of watercourses. 

In all cases, the precise location of regulated areas shall be determined by the:

  • Character of the land
  • Distribution of wetland soil types
  • Location of watercourses

NoteThis map shall be considered advisory only. Any wetland or watercourse not shown on this map is nevertheless subject to the Inland Wetland and Watercourses Regulations.
