Pay at Local Banks

The Tax Collector's Office partners with 10 Norwalk bank branches to offer this convenient payment option at no cost to you.

 During the collection period only, you were able to pay your Norwalk property tax bill in person at one of 10 bank branch locations throughout the city.   This service is subject to THE BANK BRANCH'S OWN COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS.  AND, YOU MUST ALWAYS HAVE YOUR NEWLY MAILED  TAX BILL WITH YOU.   YOU WILL RECEIVE A RECEIPT.    This service was offered through August 7 only.  We hope to be able to offer the service again in December 2023.  Please check back here for updates. 
 

You do not have to be a customer of the bank in order to pay there, and there is no fee for using this service. 
 

This service is subject to the bank branches' opening and granting of access to the public.  Due to COVID 19 restrictions and directives, some branches may provide only drive through access, or may have other limitations.  

 This service is offered as a convenience to taxpayers who prefer to pay in person, but wish to avoid making the trip to City Hall.  Save time and gas by making your payment near where you live and/or work.
